The Garden - Kiki

Eden means Delight. God literally made a garden of delight. In the beginning when God said "let there be" we were as perfect as we could be. Adam and Eve were as much like God as they could've been. Then the devil came and spoke out his lies and made us doubt the purpose of life. He stole our identities and made the world dark. He twisted the truth and told so many lies the world became lost and suddenly God and His purpose became an invisible thought. "We can not see so why should we believe?" Are lies straight from the devils mouth. He took who we are and made us question our lives. I do not want these burdens anymore, I want to stand in the light. I started a journey so I might see what I believe and to see if it was possible to make Him visible again. The devil didn't like that so he started to rage war but by the grace of God I knelt to the floor. And through the storm I shouted His name and sang to him praise and the breath that He breathed kept life in me. As I'm being reawakened I'm starting to see, God and His purpose for life. So I'll travel through hundreds of thousands of more storms if it meant others would begin to see. I'll get creative and use the ability he gave me to tell his story of him being the source of life in everything. I want to spread his purpose and the example he gave and bring others in to delight in his grace. If we all came together as he has made us to be and bask in his presence and dwell with him there could we go back to where it all began? If we dwell with him in delight would it be like being with him in Eden again?

Vicki
I am: A believer and a follower of Jesus Christ. A wife to an incredible husband, a mom of great kids, one who notices the shape of trees, a violinist, for now - a former corporate executive, a season ticket-holder, a chef with a fabulous O'Keefe and Merrit stove, a walker, dog-lover, leader, follower, teacher, listener, gatherer. And the frosting: surrounded by great friends. To be sure, my life is about God at the center. This blog reflects God with me in the day to day. My other blog, Grace stacked on grace, goes directly to the places I stretch and grow in my faith.
